Since beginning to work in the entertainment industry in 1990, Ron has been directly responsible for some of the most successful projects in the regional theme park industry. His concept designs, renderings, illustrations, study models, and field art direction are second to none. While working as a design consultation he has been responsible for master planning, ride/show design development, and thematic architecture for large regional theme park companies, such as Six Flags Theme Parks and Paramount Parks.
Through his unique and novel approach to design/build, Ron has been instrumental in creating immersive environments at reasonable specified budgets. Since 1992 and the formation of Ron Bennett Design/ Illustration, he has compiled a list of attractions and accomplishments, which will rival most in the industry. Some of which included: Conceptual design and illustration for projects such as Paramount Parks Star Trek -The Experience, Star Trek Traveling Exhibit, Six Flags Batman The Ride, Batman The Escape, Batman and Robin Dualing Coasters, Jokers Revenge, The Viper, Skull Mountain, Mayan Mind Bender, Bugs Bunny's White Water Rapids, Looney Tunes Town, Daytona USA, Elvis Presley's Memphis, Hard Rock Live at City Walk, Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure, KSC Visitor Complex, IBM Exhibit at EPCOT, El Paso Zoo, Wanndo City, Hard Rock Park, Boeing 787 Gallery, African Art Museum NY, People Magazine Project NY, Empire State Building Experience NY, Observation Deck World Trade Center, NY, The Apollo Theatre Rehab, Mega Studio's Entertainment Ccomplex, Historic Port at Falmouth Jamaica, and numerous coaster vehicles for park operations and ride manufactures throughout the world.
Prior to beginnikng work in the entertainment industry Ron worked as a design consultant for Mega Yacht Builders, Aircraft Fitters, TGI (Rapid Transit), Custom Coach Builders, Honeywell's Defense Division, and ATR a pioneer in the composite industry being one of the first companies in the world able to mold composite materials into compound forms.
